Way of the SamuraiEdit
In Way of the Samurai, it is an aerial move where the player's character frontflips in mid-air into a downward vertical slash, knocking the opponent(s) down on their face and into the ground.
Way of the Samurai 3Edit
In Way of the Samurai 3, the move appears much differently from the original. It now has the player's character perform a downward vertical slash in mid-air, but works as a "weak hit" (like sanrenzan, or tsubamegaeshi). This change is a result of the "Attack Reformation" in Way of the Samurai 3 (meaning, that most - if not all - initial moves for the weapons are changed in Way of the Samurai 3), which also resulted in the change in Hisenzan, as well as Samidare.
